“In the moonlight, your skin shines
The sweat drops fall,
Your body is wet
So as mine

“And as I rise
You, who knelt,
Get on your feet
And hit me
As hard as it felt

“I didn’t know where the pain was
On my bleeding mouth
Or my broken heart?

“And you lay me down
And you stay upon me
Literally, emotionally
Making something inside me melt

“The world was role reversed
And the mess breaks the heart
Breaks the known and tear my soul

“I see your back
I feel your farewell
I know you cry
Tears that won’t die
But tears have long dried”
